Awarded to Father Albert Roger, who was appointed C.M. on 15 December 1980 and invested with the insignia on 8 April 1981. Father Roger was the founder and for over 12 years director of the Boscoville Reform School. He was awarded the C.M. ‘in recognition of his unflagging dedication to countless young people who have temporarily lost their way, children he has given the chance to become useful citizens’. Father Roger died on 19 June 1990.
