Ivor Thomas was born in Pyle, Glamorganshire and enlisted at Brigend. Serving with the 8th Battalion Welsh Regiment, he died on 11 September 1918 in Mesopotamia. His name is commemorated on the Kirkee 1914-1918 Memorial, India.
