Waterloo 1815 (John Hurst, 18th Regiment Hussars) fitted with steel clip and ring suspension, one heavy edge bruise and some contact marks, otherwise very fine £1200-1500

John Hurst was born in Fermanagh and enlisted into the 18th Hussars on 5 May 1809. He transferred to the Staff Corps of Cavalry on 24 March 1816, but returned to the 18th Hussars in December 1818, and was discharged on 12 December 1818.
