Three ‘William Pearce’s’ on N.G.S. roll, one for ‘Martinique’, two for Syria. Of the latter, one was a Private in the Royal Marines aboard H.M.S. Daphne, the other a Yeoman of the Sheets aboard H.M.S. Circe.
