Arthus George Titmus was born in Aston, Warwickshire and enlisted at Leamington, Warwickshire. Serving with the 2nd Battalion, Leicestershire Regiment, he died of wounds in Mesopotamia on 10 February 1916, aged 18 years. The son of Arthur and Alice Titmus of Woodside Cottage, Studley, Warwickshire, he was buried in the Amara War Cemetery, Iraq.
