A fine medal in high relief. Of Australian interest. After the destruction of the Emden by the Australian cruiser, von Mücke, who was in command of a landing party on the Cocos islands seized a schooner, the Ayesha, which was re-named Emden II and escaped. They landed at Hodeidah on the coast of Arabia and after many adventures they arrived at Constantinople.
