Edward iv, Penny, Sun and Roses/Rose on Cross coinage (c. 1478-1483), Penny, Dublin, obverse bust facing, large rose and sun to left and right of crown, large sun and rose to left and right of neck, reverse rose at centre of cross, rose with two stems and sun with two roses in alternate angles, legends mostly off flan, 8.6 grains (S 6395; D & F 170). A little short of flan otherwise very fine, very rare (£200-250)
