Charles I (1625-1649), Halfcrown, ‘Blacksmith’s’ issue, mm. cross potent on obv., harp on rev., horse with cross on housing, rev. oval scroll garnished shield between cr, 14.57g/11h (S 6557; DF 335). Strictly good fine but in better state than usually encountered for this very rare issue (£1,000-1,200)
