Robert III (1390-1406), Heavy coinage, Second issue, Groat, Perth, mm. cross pattée, tressure of seven arcs, trefoils on cusps except above crown, at King’s right shoulder and by hair at 3 o’clock, saltire and pellet stops, 2.54g/9h (cf. SCBI 35, 577; cf. B 19a, fig.361A; S 5170). Striking split at 2 o’clock, otherwise very fine with attractive tone (£180-220)
