Charles I (1625-1649), Halfcrown, 1644, mm. three gerbs with sword issuant from central gerb on obv., plume on rev., Chester horseman without chst below, rev. Declaration, three plumes above, date below, pellet each side of numerals, 14.45g/11h (Lyall C/3; cf. SCBI Brooker 1112; N 2630; S 3133). Struck off-centre and good fine only but extremely rare (£2,200-2,500)
