Edward VI (1547-1553), Half-Sovereign, mm. tun, crowned half-length bust in armour holding sword and orb, rev. plain unfrosted crown above square topped shield between er, 5.62g/6h (cf. SCBI Schneider 695; N 1928; S 2451). Obverse slightly double-struck but very fine, reverse extremely fine, on a full flan and attractively toned, rare (£3,500-4,000)
