Edward III (1327-1377), Noble, London, Gp b, mm. cross potent on rev. only, annulet before edward, as of gra and aqt barred, ropes 3-2, quatrefoils 0-3 and 0-2-1, small pellets on castles, rev. a of ibat barred, crowns bifoliate, double saltire stops, 7.67g/7h (cf. SCBI Schneider 86-7; N 1232; S 1503). Slightly crimped and with minor spade marks, otherwise good very fine (£1,000-1,200)
