Henry I (1100-1135), Penny, Wallingford, Godwine, gdpine on piili, 1.29g/9h (SCBI Mack 1499, different dies; BMC –; N 857; S 1263). Slightly double-struck, with small perforation and hairline crack at 1 o’clock, otherwise very fine, extremely rare (£700-800)
