Miscellaneous, Royal Mint Trial Die, 1957, Trials (4), similar, all with no borders, 23mm, viz. in aluminium, edge grained, 4.08g/12h; in bright alloy, edge plain, 5.71g/12h; in dull alloy, 5.78g/12h; in steel, knc [= Kings Norton (?) Company] in upper right field on both sides, edge plain, 4.77g/12h; Size Trials (4), all with Britannia hand-striking a coin, britannia moneta both sides, in cupro-nickel (2), both 19mm, scalloped edges, bright, 3.22g/12h, dull, 3.25g/12h, in bronze, 21mm, edge plain, 4.43g/12h; in steel, 21mm, edge plain, 4.60g/12h [8]. First very fine, seventh from worn dies, others extremely fine and better (£100-150)
