An old 19th century free-standing wooden coin and collector’s cabinet, 55 x 38 x 71cm, comprising 25 [of 26] trays double-pierced to hold a total of 1,915 coins of various sizes, 8 drawers of various sizes and depths, all with brass pulls [some detached], double doors, lock and key; bottom drawer also with lock and key. Beading at top working loose and back a trifle warped, otherwise in sound condition and a worthy restoration project, perhaps suitable as a dealer’s cabinet; some trays stiff but complete with virtually all felts (£100-200)
