France, Agriculture, c. 1910, a silver plaque by L. Laporte-Blairsy, robed shepherd minding sheep in a valley, rev. farmer driving a plough pulled by two oxen, tablet with inscription (Ministère de l’Agriculture, Concours Central de Chateauroux 1913, Prix d’Ensemble), 79 x 57mm (cf. DNW 42, 1474). Minor rim knocks at corners, otherwise very fine and very rare (£60-80)
