18th Century, Bedfordshire, Flitwick, Skidmore's Halfpenny, 1797, 11.41g/12h (DH 1 and Middlesex 537); Leighton Buzzard, Chambers, Langston, Hall & Co, Halfpenny, 1794, chambers edge, 9.20g/6h (DH 3c) [2]. First good very fine but lacquered in the past, second with planchet flaw on reverse at 9 o’clock, otherwise brilliant and practically as struck, full original colour (£40-60)
