James II (1437-1460), Groat, Third fleur-de-lis issue, Edinburgh, mm. cross pattée, sceptre to left of bust, tressure of nine arcs, rev. three pellets in first and fourth quarters, lis in second and third quarters, double annulet stops, lis at end of legends, 2.12g/8h (cf. SCBI 35, 680-1; B –; S 5225). Verdigris spots on obverse, fine (£150-180)
