James I (1406-1437), Groat, First Fleur-de-lis issue, Edinburgh, tressure of seven arcs, sceptre to left of bust, i in field and left of neck, saltire to right of neck, crosses on breast, large g, 2.07g/10h (SCBI 35, –; B 9, fig. 436; S 5195). Pierced in three places, otherwise obverse very fine, reverse good fine, portrait and symbols very clear (£100-120)
