Charles I (1625-1649), 1644, mm. plume, lozenge stops, rev. three plumes above Declaration in two lines, date in small numerals and ox below, lozenge between two colons before legend, lozenge stops and by plumes and date, 5.67g/10h (Morr. D-3; SCBI Brooker 944, same dies; N 2449; S 2975). Struck on a large flan, the reverse that of the pattern, Morr. G-3, with bust right, plugged at top, otherwise very fine, very rare (£300-400)
