Herbert Dumbrell lived at Eastbourne, Sussex, and was an Acting Battery Quartermaster Sergeant in the Royal Horse Artillery. Sold with an Army Council letter addressed to his wife advising that he had been ‘wounded on 24 June 1944 in the Central Mediterranean Theatre of War’, together with a French ‘General Railway Warrant’ dated 17 November 1945.

William Charles Watson lived at Bletchingley, near Redhill, Surrey, and served as Private 14601992 in the Royal Army Ordnance Corps. Sold with various documents in his name including Soldier’s Will Form and a ‘Certificate of Character’ (letter) from O.C. 60 Mobile Laundry & Bath Unit R.A.O.C., this dated 16 November 1945.
