Daniel S. Vaughan attested for the Rifle Brigade and served with the 3rd Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 10 September 1914. He later transferred to the 16th Battalion, King’s Royal Rifle Corps.

John E. Vaughan served during the Great War with the Mercantile Marine.
