The scull complete with gilt metal fittings, the frontal plate of crowned star pattern with laurel and garter overlays, in the centre on black velvet ground a silvered Spinx/Egypt, title scroll below ‘The Lincolnshire Regiment’ buff leather sweat band with crimson silk lining and retailers A&N CSL, one lug missing to the Helmet Plate, and the plate is not original to the helmet, otherwise good condition £300-£400
