Walter Frederick Walker was born in Edmonton, Middlesex, and attested for the Middlesex Regiment at Mill Hill, Middlesex. He served with the 1st Battalion during the Great War on the Western Front from 29 September 1915, and was killed in action on 26 August 1916. He has no known grave and is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial, France.
