United States of America Navy, a very fine officer’s two part gilt waist belt clasp central motif of the Eagle astride an anchor with cannon ball below, thirteen stars in surround, the outer circle with ornate oak sprays and the belt retaining bars decorated with florets and scrollwork, retailed by JR Gaunt & Sons Ltd England, the extra decoration a suggests a senior officer and the quality of the gilt is pre 1914; British Regular Infantry Officer’s Levee Belt Clasp, 1855-1901 pattern central Royal Crest insilver with laurel sprays in surround and acanthus sprays to the finials all in gilt, both items in mint state (2) £50-70
