East Yorkshire regiment, Volunteer Battalions, a good quality 1880 pattern officer’s forage cap, of navy blue cloth with black braid oak leaf pattern waist band, silver bullion inlaid peak and narrow silver cord band to the crown (Field rank), bearing the silver plated and black enamelled star shaped badge of the regiment, internally very sound but bearing the inscription ‘Col. Haworth 3rd VB Lancs. Fusiliers’ retailed by Cater & Co, three small deposits of melted patent leather otherwisevery good condition £180-220
