Sherwood Rangers Yeomanry, an extremely fine and rare RSM’s full dress busby c1890-1914, of heavy pile black sealskin, triple gold orris cord sewn in cap lines and scarlet cloth bag trimmed with gold cord boss and gold thread lace, the front with large gold cord boss, brass chin chain, internally lined with crimson morrocan sweat band and crimson silk lining, the crown in black morrocan and gold blocked ‘’Harry’ Lyons/ cap busby & helmet maker/ 12 Ritter Street/ Woolwich’, complete with double gold cord orris cord cap to body lines, officer’s pattern plume white egret over green vulture, complete with officer’s pattern gilt holder and upper plume ring (in case), white cloth drawstring carrying bag and with civilian style carrying tin this with faded label ‘R.S.Major F.
