4th (Queen’s Own) Light Dragoons, a Victorian officer’s silver mounted flap pouch (Birm 1851 by Jennens & Co) the face with multi floral engraving and bearing the crowned ‘VR cypher (a small finial missing), the wooden box covered in dark blue morroccan, the regimental pattern shoulder belt, gold lace with central crimson stripe on red morroccan, the fittings in silver coloured metal (two of them struck with a cartouche bearing a lion rampant) the prickers and chains missing; together with a light cavalry officer’s gold lace and crimson silk waist girdle, on crimson silk with three gold olivet fasteners, the face of the pouch much dented and the box leather worn through in places, slight dulling only to the lace (3) £300-500
