Henry George Humphrey was born in Lewisham on 30 August 1898. Serving with the 2nd Battalion Royal Berkshire Regiment, he was killed in action on 6 October 1918 during the attack on Hollow Copse portion of the Hindenburg Line. He was buried in Brown’s Copse Cemetery, Roeux, Pas de Calais. Sold with copied research.
