Renown), the first with re-pinned (and slack) suspension rivet and, like the second, with contact wear and polished, good fine, the remainder good very fine (10) £180-220

Robert William Redvers Goldring was born in Forest Hill, London in January 1901 and entered the Royal Navy as a Boy 2nd Class in July 1917. His first seagoing appointment was aboard the battleship H.M.S. Superb between March 1918 and April 1919, during which period he was advanced to Able Seaman. From 1929, the transferral date of his service record, his career remains unknown, but he is confirmed as having received his L.S. & G.C. Medal in February 1934.
