Joseph Brady was born and lived in Naas, Co. Kildare and enlisted at Dublin. Serving as a Serjeant with the 1st Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers, he was killed in action on 1 March 1917, aged 30 years. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Thiepval Memorial.
