Army L.S. & G.C., V.R., 3rd issue, small letter reverse (2069 Serjt. W. Ryall, 1st Bn. 16th Regt.) minor edge bruise, good very fine £60-80

William Ryall was born in Poole, Dorset. Enlisting into the 16th regiment in 1842, he was promoted Serjeant in 1852. On his discharge in 1863, he was in possession of five Good Conduct Badges and the L.S.& G.C. Medal - awarded in 1861. Sold with copied service papers.
