John Brannigan was born in Skerries and living in Lusk, Co. Dublin and enlisted at Dublin. Serving with the 1st Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers, he was killed in action in Gallipoli.

James Carleton was born and lived in Aghaven, Brookeborough, Co. Fermanagh and enlisted at Enniskillen. Originally serving with the Connaught Rangers he later transferred to the 6th Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers. Serving with them, he died in Gallipoli on 27 August 1915, aged 18 years. He was buried in the Cairo War Memorial Cemetery.
