Served with Lieutenant Ogilvey’s 12-pounder Battery of four guns, as a member of No. 2 gun’s crew under Petty Officer Taylor who was Captain of Gun at Colenso. Stoker Aldworth is also entitled to the China medal wth ‘Taku Forts’ clasp for service aboard H.M.S. Fame.
