Waterloo 1815 (Serj. Arthur Campbell, 6th or Inniskilling Drag.) fitted with steel clip and ring suspension, very fine £1600-1800

Arthur Campbell was born in the Parish of Armagh, Co. Armagh, and enlisted there for the 6th Dragoons on 28 June 1803. He served as a Sergeant at the battle of Waterloo and held that rank for just over 10 years, being promoted to Troop Sergeant-Major in September 1825. He was discharged on 9 October 1826 in consequence of ‘length of service and worn out.’ Sold with copy discharge papers.
