The King’s (Shropshire Light Infantry), a fine and scarce officer’s forage cap c1881-1897 a beaded silver star with circular gilt overlay bearing ‘Shropshire’ and laurel sprays centrally on a raised ground of green velvet a silver strung bugle with ‘KLI’ (originally gilt) between the strings pin fastener; another later example of similar format but with the central emblems on a raised ground of dark green enamel, some gilt loss and the velvet faded on the first item, the second facially mint but with a soldered (old) bar on reverse in place of the lugs (2) £160-200
