WWI Period Aviator’s Face Mask, a fine quality example of the type associated with British aviators of soft brown leather with clear glass eyepieces set in copper gilt frames, mouth piece of fine gold bullion wire, complete with elasticated strap, the open press studs indicate manufacture pre 1920’s; together with a small tin entitled ‘The Mallock-Armstrong Ear Defender’ 1915 Pattern containing two bakelite ear plugs and part only of another section, very good condition (2) £150-200
