Rifle Brigade’; reverse: inscribed (name, rank, number impressed): ‘Centenary Medal, presented to 4118 Sergt. Cook G. S. Hellier, by the Annual Inspection, June 26th 1897, Col. Smith Richards V.D. commanding’, 33mm., bronze, unmounted; Volunteer Rifle Corps, obverse: regimental crest; reverse: engraved within a wreath of laurel, ‘Lc. Corpl. G. B. R.
