M.I.D. London Gazette 20 December 1940: for services with the B.E.F.

B.E.M.
London Gazette 1 February 1945. The recommendation states: ‘Owing to unforeseen circumstances a change of Tank was forced on this unit very shortly before the operations. This necessitated going to war with reconditioned models. If it had not been for the great devotion and tireless energy of MQMS Moult in overcoming endless problems and refusung to accept defeat the regiment would have been forced to go to war without tanks. The results of this devotion was apparent throughout operations when, except for enemy action, there was seldom a vehicle off the road.’
