John Buckley entered the France/ Flanders theatre of war as a Private in the Shropshire Light Infantry on 23 February 1915. Awarded the M.M. as a Serjeant in the 1st Battalion Shropshire Light Infantry in 1917, he was discharged on 16 April 1918 due to wounds and was awarded the Silver War Badge. Sold with copied research.
