John Francis O’Connor was born in Manchester and enlisted at Salford, Lancashire. Serving with the 1/7th Battalion Lancashire Fusiliers, he was killed in action at Gallipoli on 6 June 1915. His name is commemorated on the Helles Memorial. With some copied research.
