John Craig was born in Govan, Lanarkshire and enlisted at Glasgow. Entering the France/Flanders theatre of war on 12 October 1914 as a Drummer in the 1st Battalion Seaforth Highlanders, he was killed in action as a Lance Corporal in the 7th Battalion on 12 October 1917. Having no known grave, his name is commemorated on the Tyne Cot Memorial. Sold with copied m.i.c. and other research.
