Three: Private T. W. Cook, 3rd Battalion, Rifle Brigade, who was killed in action at Bodmin Copse on 31 July 1917

1914 Star, with clasp (4855 Pte., 3/Rif. Brig.); British War and Victory Medals (4855 Pte., Rif. Brig.); together with memorial plaque (Thomas Watson Cook); two Rifle Brigade badges; transmission slip for 1914 Star; and a brooch inscribed ‘Arras’ with picture of recipient fitted to centre, good very fine (7) £150-180

Thomas Watson Cook was born at West Wickham, Kent, lived at Hampton, Kent and enlisted at Maidstone. He was killed in action in France and Flanders at Bodmin Copse on 31 July 1917, whilst serving with the 3rd Battalion, Rifle Brigade. He has no known grave and his name is commemorated on the Menin Gate Memorial.
