Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 5 clasps, Cape Colony, Wepener, Wittebergen, Belfast, South Africa 1901 (6150 Tpr. J. Ure, Brabant’s Horse), last clasp unofficially fitted, extremely fine £280-320

Served with 2nd Brabant’s Horse, Rand Rifles and the Commander -in-Chief’s Bodyguard. Discharged as medically unfit on 15 March 1901. Last clasp not confirmed. His brother Lance Corporal W. Ure won the D.C.M. with the Railway Pioneer Corps. Sold with copied research.
