Queen’s South Africa 1899-1902, 2 clasps, Tugela Heights, Relief of Ladysmith (3095 Pte. W. Ingray, Durham Lt. Infy.) nearly extremely fine £160-200

The Boer War Casualty Roll lists 3903 Pte. W. Ingrey, 1st Battalion Durham Light Infantry, as having died of Enteric Fever on 22 May 1900 (note slightly different number and spelling). In two other lists, one has 3903 Pte. W. Ingrey as dying of disease on 25 May 1900; the other has two entries: 2095 Pte. W. Ingrey as wounded at Vaal Krantz, 2 February 1900 and 3903 Pte. W. Ingrey as dying of Enteric at Ladysmith on 22 May 1900.
