John Stone was born in Norfolk on 16 December 1870. A Fireman by occupation, he entered into the Navy as a Probationary Sick Berth Attendent on 24 October 1894. He attained the rank of Chief Sick Birth Steward on 15 January 1912. During the Great War he served at Devonport and was discharged with a pension in 1920. Sold with copied service papers.
