Military General Service 1793-1814, 2 clasps, Orthes, Toulouse (Thomas Bayliss, 14th Light Dragoons) minor edge bruising, otherwise good very fine £500-600

Thomas Bayliss was born in the Parish of Havenbury, near Bromyard, Herefordshire, and attested for the 14th Light Dragoons at Worcester on 15 December 1812, aged 18 years. He served one year in the Peninsula, seven months in America, and the remainder at home. He was discharged on 10 March 1841 and stated his intended place of residence to be Coventry, Warwick. Sold with copy discharge papers.
