Danae), together with an Arethusa and Chichester Training Ship medal, silver, the reverse engraved ‘J. W. Turner’, very fine and better (9) £80-100

Sold with an original portrait postcard, the reverse of which states that Turner died in 1976, and that he was wounded during the course of an Arctic convoy; also note H.M. Submarines cap tally in photograph.
