Alfred Lefevre was appointed a Boatswain in June 1892. Recalled in August 1914, as a Chief Gunner, R.N. (Retd.), he joined the ship’s company of the light cruiser H.M.S. Eclipse. By 1918 the Navy List records him as a Lieutenant, R.N. (Retd.) with no ship appointment.
