A shell cameo brooch, carved to depict Athena (Minerva), Goddess of War, in profile, her helmet depicting the she-wolf suckling the infants Romulus and Remus, gilt metal mounted, length 6.3cm. £100-£150

After a cameo by Tommaso Saulini, exhibited at the International Exhibition in London, 1862.
